    CMW Purpose Clause

    Christian Military Wives is organized and operated exclusively for the charitable, religious and educational purposes of providing spiritual, emotional, social and financial support to military families, including organizing and leading Christian-based support groups; providing financial and other assistance to military families who are unable to meet their financial responsibilities; establishing and operating food pantries for military families unable to afford healthy and nutritious meals; providing educational materials and classes to military personnel and their families on topics such as coping with deployment and reintegrating into society after returning from combat; educating the general public on the emotional, financial and physical challenges faced by American armed forces personnel and their families; organizing and conducting Christian-based retreats treats/camps for military families; and other activities similar or related to the foregoing, and to apply from time to time the principal of any property which it may hold and the income therefrom exclusively for charitable, religious or educational purposes by such agencies and means as shall, from time to time, be found appropriate therefor, including by contributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended or corresponding provisions of any subsequent federal tax laws (the “Code”) and the regulations thereunder as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended.
